Strategic Collaboration: Varnion–Omada Deliver Ultra High Reliability Network Solutions
PT Varnion Technology Semesta, a subsidiary of PT iForte Solusi Infotek under the TOWR/Grup Djarum ecosystem, has partnered with Omada (TP-Link) to develop Wi-Fi 8 (IEEE 802.11bn). This next-generation technology emphasizes Ultra High Reliability (UHR), designed to ensure stable connections even when multiple devices are active simultaneously.
Founder & President Director of Varnion, Alexander Budiman, highlighted that research and development are the company’s foundation. “We built Varnion as a technology company based on research and development. That’s why we need partners who support our innovation process,” he said.

Through this collaboration, Varnion gains access to the latest devices and direct support from Omada’s development team. Alexander added, “Omada provides access to the latest devices and direct support from its developers.” This enables Varnion to test new technologies, provide feedback from field implementation, and develop more relevant solutions for customers.
Director of TP-Link Indonesia, Jimmy Gu, emphasized that innovation must deliver real business value. “For Omada, innovation is not only about introducing the latest technology, but also about how it can bring tangible benefits to businesses,” he explained. “Collaboration with Varnion is an opportunity to combine Omada’s technology capabilities with insights into customer needs in the field.”
Wi-Fi 8 introduces a new focus on connection reliability, particularly for enterprise and hospitality sectors. It supports video communication, cloud-based applications, IoT devices, and AI-driven services. Alexander stressed, “For us, network quality must be felt all the way to the customer’s device. Connections must remain stable when many devices are active, at the edge of signal range, or when users are on the move.”

Beyond internet services, Varnion integrates connectivity with operational applications through its CloudOne ecosystem. This includes Megalos for network management, Keponet for operational coordination, and Vlepo for TV and guest digital experiences. This approach makes Wi-Fi 8 not just a new technology, but a solution directly aligned with business needs.
Alexander concluded by reaffirming Varnion’s vision: “Our goal is to translate technological advancements into real benefits for customers. Omada’s support strengthens our research capabilities to deliver reliable networks, integrated applications, and services that help businesses run more effectively.”
